If Flam Tap IPA gains enough votes for this preliminary Top 12 list, MBW advances to a blind taste-off in January. The winner of that tasting (hopefully us!) will have their IPA on tap as the “house IPA” at Hawthorne Hophouse for a whole year!

A “flam tap” is the 22nd drum rudiment that a drummer learns when studying music. Our head brewer, being a trained musician kept that in mind when we brewed our 22nd beer on our 10 barrel system. A classic, Centennial hopped IPA was brewed, dry-hopped with Falconer’s Flight hops and was aptly named, “Flam Tap IPA”.
